Coll de la Creueta Pass and Pla d'Anyella Meadows
The Coll de la Creueta Pass (1,888 m), located in the Moixeró Natural Park borders the three counties Berguedà, Cerdanya and Ripollés. The view is unique: You can spot Central Catalonia in the southern direction and looking north, the axial Pyrenees lie just in front of you. It’s a breathtaking experience!
It is an ideal place to go with children and to discover cosy meadows and the old dry stone constructions that shepherds of Castellar de n'Hug did as a shelter in former times.
From Castellar de n'Hug, we reach the Coll de la Creueta Pass and walk following the route of Castellar n'Hug- Coll de la Creueta Pass –springs of Llobregat River - Castellar de n'Hug or drive by car until reaching la Molina.
From the Pass we can also descent to the Pla d’ Anyella meadows (Tosses-Ripollès), a meeting point for sheep flocks from the lowlands , the counties Ripollès, Lluçanès, Berguedà and Osona since hundreds of years.
The herds use to graze during the summer months on our soft green hills.
You can admire the dry stone constructions as barracks, shelter, patterns ... and flocks of sheep, cows and horses, as well as marmots, chamois and scavengers.
